Food is not just simply putting a few ingredients together to make something that looks and tastes appealing. It is an entire sensory experience, from first laying eyes on the food to the last mouthful on the plate.

It’s a multi-modal perception, including smell, taste, touch, hearing and sight. By paying attention to how our senses connect with food, we can better understand how to nourish our bodies, minds, and souls.
